2. Office Hours and Locations
- Our Nairobi CBD Office is located at Elegant Exhibitions and operates from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, except on Sundays when we are closed.
- Our agents are stationed in various estates within Nairobi. Deliveries to these agents are scheduled twice daily at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Parcels sent after 4:00 PM will be delivered the following day.
3. Delivery Areas
- We provide deliveries within Nairobi and to select upcountry regions. Details of upcountry regions are available on our website.
4. Items We Do Not Deliver
We do not deliver the following items:
- Money
- Food, flowers, and groceries
- Explosives, ammunition, and flammable items
- Pets, ashes, and human remains
- Certain fragile products such as gift boxes, glass, or breakable items
- Bulky and/or heavy packages, including suitcases, large boxed items, and big pillows
5. Packaging Guidelines
To ensure safe and efficient delivery, please adhere to the following packaging guidelines:
- Packages should be properly sealed.
- Packages should be properly and visibly labeled.
6. Labeling Instructions
Ensure your package includes the following information:
- Sender Name
- Sender Phone Number
- Office Package Was Dropped At
- Date It Was Dropped
- Receiver Name
- Receiver Phone Number
- Location of Delivery
7. Return Policy
- Parcels will be stored at the agent’s office for a maximum of 3 days.
- After 3 days, if the parcel has not been collected, it will be returned to our CBD Office.
- A storage fee of Ksh 100 per day will be charged for each additional day the parcel stays at the CBD Office.
- The storage fee must be paid before the parcel is released.
8. Reporting Damaged or Tampered Packages
- If you receive your package damaged, you must report it to our customer service team via DM, WhatsApp, or phone call while still at the pickup point/agent location. Please provide an image of the damaged product.
- If you notice tampered packaging, report it immediately to our customer service team via DM, WhatsApp, or phone call while still at the agent during collection. Provide an image of the tampered packaging.
9. Delivery Risk and Liability
- GIGO SWIFT refrains from delivering fragile products. Delivery is at the owner's risk, and the company shall not be held liable for any damage claims related to fragile items.
10. Refund Processing
To process any refund, the following documents are required:
- Sender Name
- M-Pesa statement of the purchase transaction from both the seller and buyer
- Image representation of the product on the seller’s Instagram/Facebook page
- The company reserves the right to decline any claim if the above documents are not presented or if there is any evidence of alterations.
11. Refusal of Service
- We reserve the right to refuse delivery if the package falls into any of the categories of items we do not deliver.
- We also reserve the right to refuse delivery if the package does not meet our packaging and labeling guidelines.
12. Liability
- GIGO SWIFT is not liable for any damage to items that do not meet our packaging requirements.
- GIGO SWIFT is not responsible for any lost or damaged items that fall under the prohibited items list.
13. Amendments
- We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
